Economics of survival : poorness of riches

In conversions people discuss about various issue  , No matter what it the topic , money is almost there .

A person goes to a economist & ask how he can be rich .The economist ask How much you spend for your expanses for survival , to complete your basic need . That poor man told him , he never thinks such kind of thing . He thinks that he is earning & when there is need , there is requirement he,  expand the money.Almost 80/90% of his income is needed to fulfill his requirement .

The economist told that look at me , I am expanding only 10% of my income for survival , until & unless you will not limit your expanse , & invest it how can you be rich .

I do not know many of you have heard the same thing or not , but the next few lines you have certainly heard somewhere .

Most of the people are disturb , most of them are in tension , show me a happy person , show me some calm person , who did not require anything , who say that he is satisfied . See the most rich person of the world , see the business tycoon , check about the celebrity or godman  , they all are in search of money , they are looking for peace , joy .

In the example they will name many individual,  they can ,who are famous in there field  ,They try to convince you that when they are not happy with there so much money  , how you can be .

But while telling this universal truth they forget the basic behind this , they hide a very simple thing that there is difference between the Rich & Poor people needs.

If a Rich person is in tension , he is fighting than it may be for leisure , it may be for power or it may be for name & fame , But the problem of a poor person is not for this , it is for the survival .

Once the problem of basic needs attached to a person , there are many things comes in the picture & than the whole scenario is changed .

Once the people are above the basic need , he can think & once he can think he can do, this all thing are related . A hungry belly can not create the ideas . Not to be confuse that I am saying that only Rich can do all things , but only this that if people are below that level of survival , it is extremely difficult to do something  .

Arise , Awake ( Shri Vivekananda)

Arise , awake & work till you aim is not achieved

or arise , & work till you can .

Both the sentence are quite similar , generally the meaning is almost same , but the only difference is awake .

While both focusing to do your best , one is telling to arise while other say that be you should also awake , you should not be in the state of sleep .

While we compare with others , we saw so many people , different different type of people , it feels some are doing worth full , meaningful in there life , while some are doing just repetition .

Repetition is sleep , but once we are awaken we know what we are doing .

If we are awaken we will follow our destiny , if we are not we will follow others .

Just go to a Mahatma , go to a Goodman or a politician , they all will say arise & work , fight for your right , fight for your survival or take sanyas to meet the God (fight with your inner feelings if you are not willing to do it)

The issue is not only doing your best , but also doing your best with direction .

One policeman was trying to catch a thief , who was running after taking valuable from a house .

Police man was doing his best , when he was about to catch the thief , the thief was afraid .

But the thief was very intelligent , he thinks for a moment . while running he asked to the Police man , why you are waiting your energy behind me , I am an racing champion , you will not be able to catch me .

The policeman became angry & told I am the best racer in my department , you can not escaped .

the thief argued little more & same the Policeman did .

In Between the thief challenged the Policeman to touch the Pole , some distance away .

The Policeman was very much confident & take the challenge , but when he saw back to announce his victory , he saw no one was there . Thief was left behind & enjoying with the valuable .

Being more capable ,more energetic than the thief , Policeman could not catch the him.

Because He changed his focus , the aim was changed by the thief easily because while running the Policeman forget why he was doing this , while the thief was awaken & was smiling .

There is lot of race in the life , & lot of thieves are here in the way who always try to change our destiny , Some time the thieves are internal (our habits ) while some time they are external , But overall the purpose of each is to change our aim .

Its up to us how we respond.

Mahabharata

Most of us has heard ,read or viewed the tells of Mahabharata, One of my teacher asked me are u know why the Pandavs wins the war & Kauravs loose it ?

Without waiting for a second I just answered that Pandavs are fighting for the religion ,they are with truth , While kauravs are opposite to it .

Kauravas are doing Adharma while Pandavs are with the Dharma , thats why they wins .Lord krishna was with Pandavas , favouring the dharma thats why the Pandavas wins .

He says let us think the thing with new sight .He said the basic behind the victory of Pandavs was that they have only one aim ,they all have only 1 taqrget, victory what was going behind this .

The Kauravas loose because they all have there different aim , the all were fighting but they  have there own target ,they are not collectively fighting for the victory , for example The great Bhisma has his own oath that he will force krishna to take his shastra (arms ).Bhishma himself told arjun how he can be killed.

Karna was having his own view , He knows that untill he is having his kavach kundal , no one can kill him , but for him his personal aim was high then to win the war .He caught others pandavs & left them free in the war because he wants to kill only Arjun .

While in other side , no Pandav is having his personal aim , they all are fighting for the victory , they all did what they could do best for victory from killing of Bhisma from behind of Shikandi to killing of Dronacharya by creating rumours of death of Ashwathama .

They all are united , so they wins .They are single aimed so they do what is required for that, either it will be creating rumors or forgetting the Oath by Sri krishna of not taking the arm(shashtra).

Simulate the story with our self in real life , some time we see our self that we can not solve that problem while after some time we easily solve that .

We have many senses (gyanendirya) , once they are united, they are single focused towards single aim the output comes as best .

But if we are having multiple aim at a single moment of time , we are divided from our aim & once we are divided we are defeated . No one can save us .

Ox & Horse

Long ago there was two animal  Horse &  Ox in a forest. They trapped in a empty Pit.Both tried to come out from the well .

OX was trying continuously from every side ,but he was not success .After many unsuccessful attempt the legs of the horse became injured .

While the Horse was little bit calm & clever .He looks each side of the pit & finally got one easy place to go out , tried the best & came out from the pit.

This happens every where around us , daily with our self & others also .Every time we caught in a problem  sometime we are able to solve it & sometime we are not .

While we saw some people always can find the solution for each problem (in other word they are able to manage with the problem) while some or not .

The core difference is only that who thinks over the problem , who analyze the problem , is able to overcome from it .Definitely that is not the case with others .

Outcome of life:

While talking with one of my friend, he told me something last day .

Most of the people  work ,do jobs  so that they there kids life can be smother & easier than them. They want to educate them(there kids) so that they can live a respected life , can earn for there livelihood & can complete his family needs .

Apart from these the basic thing people want a beautiful home in some good place,some good city where they can stay  & they hope that this will be the dream place for there next generation .They want to earn so that when they die they will left some money /property so that there kids can enjoy the life .

Come little in the past ,what a person wants to do for his kids , the same thing there parents did for them probably 2-3 decades ago .

If going more deeper , His grandparents do the same thing for his parent .

This thing is being continue from generation , We think that we should work hard & hard so that our next generation can enjoy.

If your grandfather manage to built a home in some remote village, then most probably your father may have build in some good location (a small city) and now you may be trying for  a home in some better city.

The core need remains the same , what they did in small level we are just trying on a big level.

Some may be unlucky , not getting the things from there parents .Any way , nothing can be true in case of each person .

Not to be confuse that I am telling that we should not work , the only thing we should consider that we should not do the same thing.

We should not only live in future , we need to analyze our present also. We need to explore our self what best we can do? We know what  we can not do , but we do know what we can do? The problem is with we are surrounded by the people who always tell what – we can not be , what we should not do ,but no one is telling you can be something .

And definitely they will not tell , we only have to do .

In Search of life :1

 

While reading the post many of you people will think that I am being an spiritual , some can relate me to philosophy & some can say that I am not seeing the Positive side of the life .

But I feel that I am not able to classify myself in these category so I started down writing what ever comes in mind,

For a normal people(which is most of us are)  we take birth , our parents teach us the basic about life , we study in college(not necessary for all) and then finally we continue to earn livelihood .Then we marry , have kids . And the same process start again .They do the same thing .

Most of the events are the same for a common people . My reference to common people is here for all the Middle & lower class people .

Few of us do some business , job , even some people do nothing . but the normal process of the life became same for all .

They take birth ,earn & then die ?

We are busy in our schedule , tightly  busy , so much that even we are not able to think why we are doing all this .

We are running faster & faster but we do not know where we are going ?

Is is the life ?

We are busy with our schedule & daily things are fixed for us.

We are moving in never ending cycle.

Peoples are there & here is every stage of life to give there opinion what we should do & what we should not .

Just open the radio ,tv,newspaper .Go in public meeting , go to religious person & go to Politician ,Teacher ,Professor ,Self management guru , Spiritual teacher(not necessarily spiritual person) ,they all are ready to give there view how we should live our life ?

from childhood , they started transforming our life , what we should do & how we can be successful person .

Not be confuse with the meaning of successful person they all have there different view of that.

But the basic remains always same for all , Each of them tells this is the correct way of living the life & we should behave like them only ,If we go other than that than there is always a problem .

& Some time later in the life , we are stick to any one of them ,We are so habitual of there views that we thinks that all things are fine .There is nothing wrong in that .

Its like that we all people is living in a illusions , No one knows the truth , no one even think about that  , but we are so habitual of our belief,  if some one ever thinks against that then we ready to resist by all power .

We are behaving like the basic principal of science , every rigid thing resist for change if external force is applied because of the inertia . but had we think any time , why we are not ready to listen others view . Are we so rigid that we can not listen to others view ?Its up to us that what we can do with there views , but why we are so intolerant ,Because we always think that we are right ,We are conditioned like this way that we are stick to the view .

We have our own perception of all the things ,Any thing , any view any logic going beyond that perception we always resist .Because whatever we follow , religiously , politically or in any other way , These all always says that only that path is right? no other path is correct .

Think for a while what a man do in his whole life ?

After childhood , study , marital life & then kids ,a home & Cars etc & Then , a day come in the life when things are finished.

See the people around you , after  retirement most of the people think that there is nothing left in the life? Once your kids are married & settled in job/business ,you are complete with your life .

For the society these people or of no use & they are waiting for going out from this world .

This all cycle looks like a machine , is life only for the earning & completing the responsibilities , & responsibilities are only that which are made by us for us .Which are made by the society for us & now a days made by the Market(Investment agent ,Property Dealers ,schools ,financers etc.)

No other one is going to benefit from it .

We study lot about literature , history , geography , math's ,science ,medicine ,business etc .

There are a kind of people who makes these reality , in other side there are the people who read them to pass the exams so that they can get the degree/job.

But no where in school/home they suggest make some history ,They only tell us to be shaped according to the system .They shape us to fit in the system .No school ever teach us to rule the system ,no where is taught to create a system .

Is not we caught in the rat race ? Possibly no one except us can break the illusion ,Give some time to yourself for thinking that may give some vision .

Focus

I do not remember exactly the name but some one told long ago that all the explanation is the revision of the knowledge of the past.

It what all the godman are doing , all the books of self development are  explaining .They just promote the same thing with new cover .Our views are the output of what we receive from the outside world .

I will just tell  a little story here .I heard a long back ,  from my teacher.

Some people were going with a new, very good condition, Car in a village  ,suddenly the Car stuck in mud .  The driver tried his best , but he was not successful to take the car out from the mud .So he requested to all the passenger to push up the car .Some passenger are not willing for this ,they thought this was a below standard . But they has no option .So all the 8 people come out from the car & start pushing the Car .

The driver tried again , but after so many attempt the Car did not moved an inch .So he came out to see what others are doing ………..

He saw every one was trying his best , but the only problem was that they all were trying in different direction.

This little story tell how after applying all the forces and doing work in team can not solve the problem.

 

This is the case with us also , many time we think that we have a lot of power ,so much skill & talent etc ..but why our effort is not worthy ,the reason is that all our effort works in different direction . We work hard up to full extent ,but we work in different direction.We are not focused & here the problem start .We apply all the forces in different direction ,

We think some thing different  ,plan something different & do a  new thing .When we start a new work , we do a lot of work together .We  are never focused .

Its is like the rays of sun ,when focused can burn any thing ,but scattered will spread only light .
